To Esperance

Wednesday 15th  August

We left 7.30 this morning.

First thrill was the Salmon Gum country

10km out of Norseman we clocked up 3000 Km!

Camels were used a lot for transporting wool to Israelite Bay from Norseman.

50km out of Esperance, we stopped to look at a wildflower and found a most beautiful display of so many different species.

A net bush (Calothamnus)

Chorizema verticordia

Euc nuts

?

Donkey Orchid and ?

Lechenaultia ?

Dryandra

A pea

A. pycnantha ..Australia's floral emblem.

We ended the day with a beautiful walk along the beach,

then a delicious meal of Coffin Bay oysters, King fish (cooked by SKD..the master) then fresh strawbs macerated in the Black Sherry!

Nice being back in range and catching up with family news.

We are enjoying the comments...looking forward to some more!!
