Exmouth & Cape Range N.P. Ningaloo Reef part 2

It was very windy, just one day out of the week we were at Exmouth. Every other day was idyllic.

On that windy day we went to Yardie Creek, about 90 km from Exmouth, and did the walk into the Gorge...we had to be mountain goats in some parts, but the views were worth it.

On the way back, we checked out some of the other beaches but the tide was nearly out, and it was very windy, so not ideal for snorkelling.

There are lots of campsites along the beaches in the Ningaloo N.P. but they have been full every day, and anyway we feel we are past doing that. We are very comfortable here in Exmouth with our ensuite! We just drive to Ningaloo each day....after a 'seriously good' coffee!

There is one patch of this Banksia ashbyi

We see lots of Cockatiels

The water at Ningaloo is just so breathtakingly beautiful...it makes me emotional looking at it every time!

We did lots of snorkelling, seeing so many brightly coloured fish of all shapes and sizes... a dream.

What a wonderful experience!
